You will arrive in Kathmandu. We will pick you up from the airport. You will get a warm welcome at the hotel where you will be staying. After resting for a couple of hours, we will explore the city of the temple. We will Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore ancient temples, palaces, and courtyards. Then we will head towards Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for panoramic views of the city and its surrounding hills. We will return to the hotel and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner.
We will use our luxurious car and depart Kathmandu early morning for the journey to Chitwan National Park (approximately 5-6 hours by road). We will be checking into your accommodation in Sauraha, the gateway town to Chitwan National Park. After lunch, take a guided tour of a Tharu village to learn about the indigenous culture and lifestyle of the Tharu people. In the evening, enjoy a cultural dance performance by the Tharu community.
We will embark on on a full-day jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. Activities may include:
– Morning elephant-back safari to spot wildlife such as rhinos, deer, and various bird species.
– Jungle walk with experienced guides to explore the flora and fauna on foot.
– Canoe ride along the Rapti River to observe crocodiles and water birds.
– Visit the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about conservation efforts.
After a full day of fun in nature we will return to accommodation for dinner and relaxation.
We will take part in additional activities of the chitwan national park.
We will have breakfast then depart from Chitwan for the return journey to Kathmandu. En route, stop at Manakamana Temple, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site accessible via cable car, to seek blessings and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas. We will arrive in Kathmandu by late afternoon or early evening, with the remainder of the day free for personal exploration or relaxation.
We will participate in the farewell ceremony at the hotel. The traditional Nepali style will be the theme of the farewell. We will drop you off at the airport as per your flight schedule.
